We rented a Class C RV based on a Ford E-Series chassis from El Monte RV. During our trip, we experienced two dangerous tire tread separations. The Quigley torque arms installed appear to commonly fail from some of the earlier years and a design change has been made (from C-channel arms to tubular). I WAS DRIVING MY 1995 RV WITH A FORD E350 CHASSIS ON THE FREEWAY IN LAS VEGAS APPROXIMATELY FIVE MILES FROM HOME WHEN I NOTICED A SLIGHT VIBRATION. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE FUEL TANK AND THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
